How to look like an Avatar
This rather in depth tutorial shows one method of getting that avatar inspired look, are you thinking of being an Avatar, well Na'Vi, for Halloween or a costume party this year?
The costume itself will be easy enough, naked , a little body paint and some well placed vines or string, but the face make up to look like a Na'Vi that will be much more difficult. Esentially you need to go blue and you need to accent the feline traits of your face and ideally change your earshape to get an authentic look.
Afterwards you will also need to work in the striations on the face and visible skin.
This tutorial is a great basis for developing a avatar inspired look.
