James Camerons' titanic movie, Avatar has introduced a new character into collectible land. The Navi are sure to be the most remembered and remarkable of the Avatar inspired toys. The Navi toys include their steeds, their true names unspellable by this author, but the Navi horse and navi airhorse dragon thing are really very cool as are the Navi clothing and side characters.

How to look like an Avatar





This rather in depth tutorial shows one method of getting that avatar inspired look, are you thinking of being an Avatar, well Na'Vi, for Halloween or a costume party this year?

The costume itself will be easy enough, naked , a little body paint and some well placed vines or string, but the face make up to look like a Na'Vi that will be much more difficult. Esentially you need to go blue and you need to accent the feline traits of your face and ideally change your earshape to get an authentic look.

Afterwards you will also need to work in the striations on the face and visible skin.

This tutorial is a great basis for developing a avatar inspired look.

The Avatar Movie craze has taken the world by storm. People were captivate dby the storyline that brought back the nostalgia of FernGully and action of Starship Troopers. A new technology in stereoscopic 3d amazed and mesmerized the masses. Soon our worlds will also be taken by surprise as the 3d viewing experience overtakes our homes.
